Colby & Banningham
Colby & Banningham are two villages in the heart of North Norfolk which were combined into one civil parish in the 1930's. Both villages saw some infill development in the mid-1970's, and apart from a few individual houses, not much development has taken place since then.

The Parish Council currently has 6 of the 7 seats filled. All Councillors live in the parish and have a wealth of local knowledge. Parish Councils are the third tier of local government, the other two being Norfolk County Council and North Norfolk District Council.

Update - NNDC and Broadland Housing Association were pleased with the response at the consultation event. One of the questions asked the most was "why this site" so Broadland Housing Association will be sending out a further consultation soon called a "call for sites" - this will find out if there are other sites that may be considered. If potential sites come forward, they will be assessed. So watch out for a further letter soon.
Parish Council Meeting - the Council will be in recess during August. Having said that there are two planning applications that require a decision in the next couple of weeks, so the council will meet to consider these on Wednesday 3 August - Agenda
